Webbit is owned and operated by Marion Maslin. We aim to provide a high-quality, cost-effective alternative for the small to medium business wishing to gain maximum value through an Internet presence.

Marion has been involved in the design and development of more than 30 websites, many of which are displayed in our portfolio. We use the Macromedia suite of software products for web design and development including Ultradev, Fireworks and Contribute. Additionally, we use the Active Server page (.asp) technology for interaction with Access databases when creating dynamic websites.

Marion's background is in marketing and public relations. She studied for a Certificate in Micro Computer Technology at the international training institute, Spherion (formerly Interim Technology).

More recently, Marion was a consultant and web designer and developer with a New Zealand-based public relations consultancy. In that capacity she advised on and produced a number of web sites for not-for-profit organisations and small businesses.
